She is also the author and/or illustrator of over 50 titles, including Hetty the Yeti, Cry in the Dark, Aunt Bella's Cat, My Mum, Magenta Mouse, Katy's Special Tooth, and Silly Sausage. 

Dee loves going into schools and sharing her experiences and methods with children of all ages, and she's keen to encourage their own creativity. Talks and demonstrations are normally accompanied by writing and/or drawing workshops. These are designed in consultation with teachers. Workshops tend to work best in class-sized groups, talks/demonstrations can be to larger numbers.
